You need direction.
You want understanding.
I will help you find it.
My Story
I’m a pastor’s wife, mother, and caregiver. I love being outdoors, trying new recipes, traveling, spending time with family, and our chickens. I’ve been a nurse since 2008, and became a nurse practitioner and coach to provide the care that I wish I would have had.
In high school I struggled with fatigue, eating disorders, and digestion issues. These symptoms along with others, continued into my 30s when I was ultimately diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases. I continued to see specialists and received additional diagnoses. These included Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, premature ovarian failure, anxiety, depression, Raynaud’s phenomena, MTHFR, irritable bowel syndrome, and small bacterial overgrowth. I was offered medication, but no guidance or support toward lifestyle changes. I sought the expertise of practitioners in the western, Chinese, and functional medicine spaces, but consistently felt brushed off, dismissed, and even more confused. With zero direction or understanding of my symptoms, but convinced of a root cause, I dived into my own research.
Years later, I found a practitioner whose process instilled confidence and hope. Under her care, I finally felt heard and cared for. She became my partner in resolving symptoms that I had suffered with for far too long.
I feel so fortunate to bring elements of the process we engaged in together, straight into my work with you. We will work together to combine the science of medicine with your unique body and life circumstances.
